biker's back
03-27-2004, 11:58 AM
So alots happened since I was last on this board and its nice to see there are still some of the regulars around. If you dont know who I am, dont worry just skip the post. This goes out to all the great people that are on here and remember mt.biker aka Rob now biker's back.
Since I last left you, I got a full time job where I market a small company back home. Broke up with a my gf Lindsay, dated a few girls and have now fallen for the girl who was a friend of mine's date to the formal a while back. We've been going out for a while now how long I dont remember.
I've also totalled my baby (97 3.5RL), have been charged with careless driving and am out 15K bc insurance ended up screwing me over in the long run. No worries though, my gf drives and I TTC it to work these days ;( Ya its really hard not having her around (car) but I'm dealing. The 1000/month I used to spend on here is nice to have in my pocket and hopefully the money will go to good use for the future place I get.
In a few months I'll be heading back to school for marketing and in short order moving out of the house, more then likely with my GF.
I recently trued 20 where my friends got together and threw me a bit of a party and then my gf took care of me when we got home.
Whatever you heard when I was gone probably isnt true. I'm fine, feel free to drop me a line, if you have msn its pm me however I'm not on it much other then at work. But hey if you can catch me by all means.
I have to say its strange typing in this form and its only from what D said while a bunch of us were out bowling that got me back here. The drama isnt needed in my life, I hold no beef with anyone and if you hold it with me get over yourself. This is the internet and frankly the other things in my life are more important.
There tons more but hey I havent typed this much in ages. Cheers everyone  Holla

its public transit, like buses and trains.
As for the TSX, its a pretty nice car. My folks have it, and maybe in a few years I'd take it off their hand, however I like the tq my RL had and the TSX is majorly lacking in that area.

Hey dude! Waassupp! Missed you! Glad to hear your back with us but sorry about your car. I bet having the "extra" money doesn't hurt though. What about getting an econo for awhile just to get you around or won't any insurance touch you for awhile??

Nope, it doesnt work like that up here. I'd have to be insured under her policy and no company in their right mind would touch me with my record.
Since I'm at home right now i signed alot of legal work to make sure my folks didnt lose their policy. Something to do with having a high risk driver in teh house and the chance of me taking a car out and risking their policy.
Right now if I drive a car I've signed off that I have NO coveraeg and would be souly responsible for an payments/damages if there was an accident.

One major accident, a speeding ticket and then totalling a car doesnt make me insurance material. Unless rates drop or our govnt comes out with public insurance I wont ever be able to afford insurance again. Since I dont have a policy anymore and when things do clear up i would still be a novice driver and faced with rates I saw at 16.

Is there no term limit in CA, like a points system? I know in the US there's a maximum term (not sure, 3 years or 5 years) before things are dropped from your record, in which case it cannot be considered for insurance.
Still good to have you're back. Ya know, crazy as this sounds, I considered heading to t-dot to see the city, but with a secondary of meeting you.....strange, I know. But we seemed to share many the same opiinion on things, and it's another excuse to travel. I can't remember if I have any family in TO or not, haha. Also can't decide if I'm heading back to Edmonton this summer or going home for Xmas........problems, I know.....

Depending on where you're coming/been in texas I think you'd love tdot. Not one american I know has come up here and not loved it. People are nice, tons to do and the city is clean. Come on up!
As for pts, its 6 years here.
