well my d4 light comes out flashing at random times and the tranny refuses to shift other than 1 and 4th. I get a fault code 7 whcih is the shift control solenoid A. i already checked the solenoid and it passes all the checks described in the repair manual: it has 16ohms resistance and it clicks when i apply power to it, but it still has issues at random times. Anyone has any ideas what could trigger it ?

no, i reved to 8k to see if it will get the hell outta first. anyway the solenoids failed the resistance check before, i just needed to move the car ouuta the parking lot into the garage. as for 8k rpms i have been to 9500-10k before. I think the f22's have a lot more potential than ppl like to give them
