Sunroof is stuck...can someone help!

I have a 91 CRX and Im having problems with the sunroof sticking. When i push the switch All the way down to open the roof...the roof lifts up and thats it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just hope im not going to have tear the thing apart.

i use to have a mazda mx-6 that did that, all i did was push up on the sunroof not to hard but with a little pressure and it opened, i think the lil plactic gears wore out...

I have tried that too...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt
