Xbird (Chris), who lives in Canada, installed his Greddy turbo yesterday. There was a block warmer that ran behind the turbo and made the fit extremely tight. So tight that it cut the block warmer and now there is a leak after the turbo was installed. My suggestion to him is to remove the warmer and install a different one that routes a different way. Is there anyone that has had this experience and has any suggestions? Thanks.

By the way, that was the leak he had posted in another post. It is a coolant leak and not an oil leak. Also, Chris is not near a computer and asked me to post this for him.

OK, Yes, it's the block heater that is on the way of the turbo
it's right behind the Turbo Inlet !
I finally decided to take my turbo out, and take that engine warmer out, i asked everywhere, they said there won't be any different sizes. Well then i decided to not use the block heater ! BUT i can't find any nuts or bolts or screws to block that ****ing big hole ! it's i think 28 mm large !
Then... what can i do??? well... USE DREMEL !
i used to dremel to cut a little bit out of that metal!
it's like a metal that looks like a small but big dick !
then there is a rubber plug at the end which touches the turbo ! I put some electrical tape around it !
In conclusion i cut part of that shit out, now... IT IS NOT LEAKING !
Although it is still in touch with the turbo ! I droved it for a while, don't see any leaks! but i smelt something burning, i checked everything out, nothing is wrong, it's probably those electrical tape or the rubber is burning! but after a while, it's all good, not too much burnt smell !
I think it's all good now ! hopefully it will forever ~
there is another leak that i saw, it's on gasket where it connects the downpipe and the CAT, that metal gasket isn't in a good shape ! i probably need to buy a new one !
BUT those leak doesn't leak air out ! it leaks out some kind of LIQUID ! it looks like water, or it looks like engine oil !
me and my friend tasted it, doesn't taste like oil nor water !
is it possible that OIL is coming out?? After a 20 mins drive, i don see anything leaking out from there...
well i hope it will be all good after tonight! Thanks for all the help guys !

Ok Damnit !
That freaking block heater is still leaking A LITTLE BIT !
I will probabaly go to honda and ask them if they have something to block that hole, then i am not going to use the block heater !
IF they don't have anything like that, i will use my dremel to cut that dick out !

I got a friend that has a friend installed a turbo on his civic, i just called him, i hope he knows what his friend did, then i can do it !!!
***... i hate Canada !!!
stupid ppl, stupid weather, stupid NO AFTERMARKET PARTS !

OK I FINALLY FOUND OUT WHAT THAT IS
IT'S CALLED A DRAIN PLUG !!!
https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
that's where i found it !!! it's under the cylinder block section!
I didn't hesitate at all and order it !!!
I think you might probably be able to get it at your local dealer !
but coz i called my local dealer, they said they don't have it, i would think the 90 % don't have stock of those stuff !
it will take weeks for them to order it !
so i ordered it online without any hesitation !!!
I hope it will arrive ASAP !!!
it cost around 12 bucks plus shipping !
i hope it's worth it !!

same here, it's right above the oil filter.

I guess that's the only difference between the canadian D16z6 and the american one.
