body kit

I've got a 98 civic coupe and am about to buy a body kit but I need some opinions on side skirts. I'm going with the black widow front and buddy club rear, but i'm not sure what sides would work well with set up. Any advice you guys might have would be helpful. Thanx

Yeah I like those one too, but I've heard they don't stay on very well unless there molded in, anyone have any probs with them.

i have the black widow sides and rear, and i like them both but yea, the sides are a pain, they like to move, but its not a problem if your molding them in which i'm about to do

body kits fit shitty enough as is, and destroy the lines of the car IMO. But, the buddy club sides are EASILY the best looking sides you can get other than say CTR or Mugen from say, JDMshit.com

if you get like, Veilside or Combat or Shogun, may your car explide instantly for not getting buddyclub. MAKE them fit cause they are the only modest skirts out there

last time i checked, i remember paying back for everything done to my car working a minumum wage job. And for the record, i have as much heat as you do under the hood, and i also rebuilt that shit myself, and put it in with almost no help.

i paid for the tein shit
i paid for the B
i paid for my tools
i paid for everything and did everything myself too. Even if i used my dads credit card, i took initatitive and paid him MORE for letting me use it. Just cause we are on hondastyle doesnt mean everyones still got a D series and sits on Arospeeds. Others can do shit on the same level as you. That still doesnt mean your hood isnt useless. And also, i happen to like C west kits...hte only kit i like i just hate the hood. big deal. A lot of people hate stuff ive done, but i dont care

Youd be surprised.. take everything steep (i.e. speed bumps/curbs or driveays) slow and at an angle and generally slow down for railroads tracks and potholes or dips and I dont scrape at all. Ill get you a pic of my driveway and you'll be amazed that I dont scrape. 1/2 mile long and gravel with some hills.

Body kits are Ghey/RICE. The only body mod i will do is put on a Sp00n CF lip for subtle cosmetic enhancement once i boost my car.

to me its a your choise and if you want to do it do it. if other people dont like it good for them as long as you do.

for me imo i dont like them, but some cars look good with them and other do not. i will never buy a kit, but i am going to buy the WWRS front lip. its the only thing i can find that makes my car look meaner but still stock looking.

as far as a kit weighing a car down. some kits barely add that much weight youd be surprised. plus maybe they arent as much into racing, and more into looks and show.

Thanks man. Took me a while to decide what color I wanted to paint it all.. I hated the stock blue. If you want I can find the # of the paint.

C-west is really the best one for the Civic IMO. However, I was going to go with it, but I decided on the Shotgun kit... not too bad with carbon fiber inlayed into the kit.

I agree though bodykits are heavy if fiberglass, but urethane is more expensive. Its all your personal taste dude. Your paying for it, not other people who give their opinions. You'll have people that will like it, and you will have people that will not. WHO CARES! Be individual and just have fun.
