This is for anyone trying to get a JDM motor online! DO NOT go thru nagano/Japan star for an engine, they will gang rap you! here's the skinny, i ordered a D15B sohc vtec motor w/trans and ecu from them and they sent me a D16A, then i called them and told that they sent me the wrong motor. they stated that the motor that was sent was $200 more then the motor that i order. i told them to prove that the motor that they sent was better then what i ordered.A day goes by still no answer on the specs for the engine that they sent,then when they call, they have me call there sister company (Japan star).they told that the engine that i have is rated at 115-120hp,so i said that the motor that i have here is $200 more then the D15B(130hp).so i told them that i wanted that the motor that i bought,they said that they don't have that motor and will pay me $200 to keep that motor.i told them that i wanted my money back. well that happed over the span of a month form jan 15th today,and i still don't have my money.it took 2 1/2 week for the engine to get to my house,then when i didn't want the motor it took until march 3rd for them to send a driver to get the engine, they also took $50 more out of $1100 that i sent them for the motor. they stated that it was for paper work so i got taken for $50 and week and half of missed work. so for people trying to get a JDM motor,make sure that you check all info on company before you send them money.
This is a heads up for all the tuners out there, make sure that the company that you go is not going to rap you on what you ordered!!!!
