Hey guys,
Fixed my alternator for $20 bucks. (Yea baby) The car runs fine now and now I just a have a few more problems to sort through. Maybe you guys could help me out. At around 45 m.p.h. I start to get this vibration from the front passenger side wheel well. It comes and goes about every half a second. Increased speed cuases it to come and go faster. It's not so much that I can feel it (I can) but it gets really loud. If I go above 55, it goes away, or at least seems to. I've already ascertained that I need new bushings for the front sway bar (there are currently none their). Is this causing my vibration? Also, at around the same speed this vibration starts, I get this nasty shake in my steering wheel. It doesn't jerk the wheel or anything, but it vibrates really bad, making it difficult for me to hold the wheel. Any ideas??? FYI, the guy I bought this from ran into a guard rail on that side. If anyone could help, that would be great. Thanks.

Out:cool:

everything you mentioned could be part of the problem, plus warped brake rotors maybe.

have you taken your rims off latly, maybe you didnt tighten it down enough.

the wheel shaking. my lude does that when im sitting still. but if shakes worse while driving check your rac n pinion. <- dont know if i spelled that right.

oh yeah, wheel removal and forgetting to torque the lugs down will do that to. i did that once. they were finger loose. scary.

could be the alignament, a bent suspension component, or jsut simly a low tire.

Check the tire pressure or look at ur tire to see if there are any bubles on the side wall.

i just noticed you drive an accord. do a tire balance and an alignament. also it could be a worn inner cv joint ( accords are good at doing that)

^whats that supposed to mean? j/k i had the same problem, at like 50 the steering wheel would vibrate, and it felt like the tire was wobbling, took it to get an align ment, and come to find out the F R tire was off balance (greased lightning will eat the glue on the back side of the weight), fixed the problem, not shakes, kind of missed it thogh cause i had a steering wheel cover that had a massaging grip, and it felt goooooOOOOOooood1!

So what I'm hearing from you guys is to check alignment and wheel balance right? I already checked the lugs and they are just fine. I've also had the brake rotor checked for warps and none were found. that and the combination of having no bushing for the front sway-bar (passenger side) are causing my problems then. Cool  , I'll have the alignment and wheelbalance checked ASAP and then I will update you guys. Thanks.
