Hello Everyone!

I've owned a 97 Civic DX for almost five years now. I'm looking to do some modifications in several directions.

1) some cosmetic changes on the inside
2) performance enhancements
3) audio system upgrade

I'm not planning on showing the car in any regard, all these modifications are for me personally.

At this time I know nothing about cosmetic or performance upgrades and very little about the audio system. The only difference in my car from stock is a CD player, 2 12"s in the trunk and an amp to power them.

I'm looking for suggestions on what to get done. I'm not really aware of all the possibilities. I'd also like to start off with things I can do myself, keep in mind that I don't have very many tools yet.

So who has some suggestions on what would be some fun first projects?

Now I feel like I'm getting some action done. Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I'm going to read some more of the boards so I don't post anything too stupid, and start putting specific questions in the appropriate place. You all know how to make someone feel welcome.

Whtehnda93DXSdn, thats exactly the stuff I want to hear about. I'm so new to this stuff I'm not even sure what to research yet. Now you've given me a list of stuff to go find out more about.
