See the fun thing about snow Chris is that we still get flood warnings with that too....so for like 3 days straight we'll have snow...then it'll get to like 40 degrees the day following all the snow and we have flooding everywhere. Then during the night, it gets to below freezing and all that snow that melted and didn't evaporate turns to ice. And well, it's hard driving in icy situations even if you're taking it easy. As for the tornado things up here...we get them but in very small amounts and not terrible damage. It's too hilly in PA for them to work up a lot of steam.

Trust me, you'd rather have rain.

We're actually having average temps for once this winter this weekend. From today through Sunday at least we're supposed to be in the mid to upper 40s for day time highs. I'm so stoked I have off work this weekend :)

what if i threw a hurricane and old people into that? still sound like a trade? :D

yes still sounds like a trade....hurricanes don't happen when it's cold, and I've lived through them before when I lived in Hawaii. As for the old people....FL, PA, and AZ are always in a "hot battle" for the 3 highest populations of seniors. So...that really wouldn't be all that different for me.

so yep...still a trade. Don't they have a TV show where 2 people trade lives for 48hrs or something like that?? They have to switch lives completely and do exactly what the other person would do if they were home.

yeah...penns old people suck ass...i fucking hate them.
and it's funny that it's snowing there...my mom just left today for a trade show that she's working in.

okay but we also have bugs that carry malaria, encephalitis, and god knows what else down here, and they love to get crazy after it rains. in the more southern parts of florida after it rains trucks have to drive around the towns spewing pesticides into the air to keep all the mosquitos from eating us alive. and as chris said there is the constant threat of hurricanes during the months of june-sept or something like that...though we got off rather easy last year with only one or two named storms landing in the central part of florida. also all this water that we have doesn't evaporate, it just sits there and attracts more germs and bacteria and bugs...it's so humid down here and the fact that we're below sea level, there is just water everywhere. it's like living in a sauna. though i was only in new york for 5 days, i'd trade to live up there and in that weather in a moment.

I'd die if I lived there. I only have to get within about 10 feet of a mosquito and it bites me :D
