Become a Mod????

ok just wanted to ask since it's been like 2 weeks since I put through my request and haven't gotten any type of feedback or replies.

so i figure since this is about the site I would post it here since not sure who to address it with:
I submitted a request for mod status 2 weeks ago and have yet to get any type of a response to let me know it's being reviewed,discussed amungst other mods/admin or what. If someone could leave me info here or through PM or email even to give me an update would be greatly appreciated. I would love to help out here on the boards once again but i guess no one wants me to give a helping hand...

we used to be able to see the mod apps but well not anymore, and it is not being discussed right now

i put one in along time ago to mod the midwest forum. big whoopdiedo. but no one is the mod for it so i figured i would ask.

plus is up to cheif who i havent talk to for awhile.

well chief doesn't do the site anylonger..He is still a member and active just not in the same as he was. There is a guy on the board now that is the owner of the site but he is never on here or must never check those things as chief did...

I just feel if you don't have the time or ability to do some thigs then delegate it to the current mods/admin to help that load and be easier...

If the owners decide that a new mod is needed, they will then sift through the applications. Otherwise, you kind of just have to wait...

well that is fine and dandy but state that on the app or info when submitting it. I'm sorry when you submit something like that you expect to have some feedback in a timely manner or so my experience has been in the past...

I really have no idea about the mod apps. I think it was a hack that was added and it sends the requests off somewhere... I haven't noticed anything, so they must have ended up in a black hole or something.
