Thanks for the comments everyone. And the color is the stock red. Might just be the angles and lighting of the pics...And the lip is just ABS Plastic. Professionally painted black.

Why does it "suck ass" that the lip is ABS? Personally I think that is better; more durable, cheaper, etc etc...

Car looks real nice and clean. Maybe some tint to set it off?:yes:

I think he meant that it sucks ass that that happened. And yea it does...

And yea, I'm sticking with ABS. Its cheaper and won't look any different. I plan on painting the new one red. At least I'm thinking about it...

But here's the story:
Sunday night, me and my boy Chris were on our way home from Arnell's (Thermal). We took a few side roads to stay away from stupid fucks. And I was taking this one corner at about 5-6mph, when my ass end got loose. I corrected a little, but I hit more ice and it over-corrected. ended up 180 degrees around and slammed sideways into the curb. Luckily my rims are perfectly fine. But my lip....well....yea....


Edit :: And yea, I was thinking about the tinting the other day. I think I'll hold out til I get boosted.

it might just be smart to leave the lip off during the winter (thats what I do) becuase it is too cold for abs and it breaks really easily, whereas in the summer it would just bend out of the way.

Where did you get the lip? I like my sir one, but just incase this one dies I will need another (stupid honda discontinuing it)

Yeah I personally would have done that...Or do what I do. Just don't drive yoru car in the winter.

Not my Sol, its a friend of mine's. But it got T-boned right after Xmas and is now in the boneyard. We swapped the C5 into a coupe though, which is still pretty sweet...

And I don't htink I could wait that long before getting another lip....haha. This is the only problem I've had with it so far. It was just hitting the curb that did it. I won't be getting a new one most likely til after I boost.

And I got the lip from a friend. I used to have one, but....broke that one too. But that was just pure stupidity and not paying attention when I lower my car from being on jackstands. But my friend sold it to me for $75 so he could get an SiR. Not sure which I like best.....:confused:
