Ok, i was wondering whawt the optimal wheel size would be for great handling aswell as great launch for dragging? i was thinking 16's because they worked well for my civic. but i really wanted to get those 17 inch work rims in bronze on a black slammed rex...taht would looked hot...but i don't know what the performance would be like that...what do you guys think? got with the 16 work rims? or can i go with the 17's if i have enough power?

if you want the BEST for handling and drag but a little show then i say 15's
14 would be better though

15 are a nice look by far...unless you are showing and want a bigger wheel then the 16 are a great choice 17 for those that want bigger and then some..lol

soem peope have to get 16's ten 15's and 17's to see what they like...Matter of personal preference at time in the end...15's are alot cheaper for rims and tires that's for sure....

15's are the best...

bronze + black is GREAT... you are on the right track with your color and wheel choice.. both are great... but IMHO 17 is WAY too huge for such a small car.. 15 would be great

my 17's with tires are the same size as the steelies, imo to each thier own, but if you get bigger rims, make sure you get siffer shocks cause i never realized how much lopro's are till you wear a mark where it scrapes.
also get an alignment done, it helps a lot

15's or 16's. Your choice

yea, so what are soem good looking 15s that you can put on a CRX? i was thinking spoons, but you cna't get them in 15's and i don't really like the way they look, too plain.

or what do you think of these? they look saucy on the lil crx model they had them on in 15's..

Kool rims (italian pride) (http://www.tirerack.com/servlet/CallJsp?target=wheelSearchCloseUp&wheelIndex=7&sizeIndex=0&showRear=no&setIndex=1&filterSize=15&filterFinish=&filterSpecial=Pricing)

Also, what about performance break rotors and calipers....dont' the usually need 16's min.?

Not really... you can get MORE than sufficient brakes that will fit under 15's... (depending on which 15's)... either way Integra 4 wheel disk is more than enough to stop most civics REAL fast.

As far as brands... there are lots...

I have konig heliums... they're light as hell and decent looking imo... I like them better than the mugen's they're knocking off...

Rota's are another popular one... they're the spoon knockoff's I believe.

Go with some rims that have a low weight (keeping the unsprung weight down). These are 15 inch OZ Superleggras on my old 92 Civic.
