it's brand new... brand new technology... not many cars have them... those cars that do have them have probobly not been junked or crashed yet...

The ONLY reason B series engines' are soo cheap (relatively) is that they're soo plentiful.

B series that you find cheap are B or C quality and have 70K plus miles.

K series cant be swapped into B or D or H series cars yet.

You would if it made 512hp.

Exactly...it's like a Chevy 350. The 350 is the most plentiful engine on the face of the planet and it's the cheapest to buy/rebuild. I'd bet that in a few years the K20s will come down in price...but I'm sure you don't wanna wait that long.

On a side note...for a longblock, $6K isn't too bad in the grand scheme of things. If I bought a well built stroker long block for my car, it'd come pretty close to $6K. Hell...low ball would be like $4800 or so (for a stroker...a 306 would be a little less)

hasport makes the mounts and they are readily available...too bad the motors arent.
Another thing that no one is telling anyone is that the header needs to be custom made for any chassis other than EP/DC5...so thats another large chunk of money. Oh, and dont forget the pain in the ass of custom wiring :)
I say its around another full year, at the earliest, until harnesses, headers, and more mounts are available.

then it looses is "omg wow ****ing amazing" appeal. a "kit" to swap a motor isnt as impressive as somehting needing semi major modification to be done right imo
