went on a roadtrip today. Everything was going fine. on the way back, battery light came on....it was ok for a while..then everything started gettin dim in my car as im' driving in the worst snow storm weather ever. finally car dies 45kms out of my town and i had to run 10mins to the ONLY gas station around (thank god it was there) ..called a tow truck, cost me $130 to get it towed to town..my alternator went i do believe

anyways

yeah..AND i had to pay a $57 ticket for my tinted window.i'm so ****in mad

Sounds like the alternator, bleh. I've had alternators die before... I just kept jumping the battery every few blocks until I could get to the station...

Oh man! -_-

Kyle, put back to all 20% around not 5%. 5% is too illegal caused get easy to tickert.

No kidding. I don't know what my back windows are because they came with the car, but I get pulled over too much for them  No tickets though :) (I probably just jinxed myself)

yes you just did jinx yourself. the thing is, in my town i always drive next to cops and they had never pulled me over..then BAM, one needs to meet a quota or somesh*t so he picks on the guy in the accord

That's weird.... same thing here. I've never had a front plate and have dark tint and stuff, and drove around like that for 2 years before they decided to start being dicks about it. And the worst part is that the motorcycle cops can pull u-turns and get you whenever they feel like it. I always say the same thing... "My car came this way and I didn't know..." and I always get a warning.

Heh, it just depends on the cop. Some are cool and some are dicks. Just luck of the draw :)

well here: http://www.4alterstart.com/pages/store/searchskudetail.nhtml?profile=default&uid=10887&searchforproduct=accord&returnURL=http%3A//www.4alterstart.com/pages/store/searchresults.nhtml%3Fsearchforproduct%3Daccord i know it's a lot of dinero, but 130 amps compared to the shitty 80 amps for the stocker, it will be able to carry your system and some more. just make sure you upgrade the cabling on it and the battery for anothr $30 and you got yourself a damn bad add electrical system

A big stereo will kill a low power alt. find a starter shop and have it rebuilt. It is cheaper and they can juice it up for you.
