Planning my 3rd annual SoCal trip at the end of Feb, maybe.
Just curious as to what the weather is like lately.
Is In-N-Out Burger having any crazy specials?
In-N-Out....

Well...seeing as how L.A. in particular is hell, I'd say it's about 400 degrees with gusts of lead coming up Sunset Blvd. Seriously...California just needs to hurry up and fall into the ocean.

well obviously in the ghetto of any state is gonna suck ass, but unlike most states when you get outa of the ghetto CA is actually beautiful.
Pdigg when are you going to LA? my wife and I are going to San Diego during spring break(march 13-20th or so) to visit relatives and are probably going to head to LA as well.

Yeah, I lived there for 11 years and still go back every year. Its great... if you love inhaling smog and driving in traffic. There are good parts in the state, but I'll pass on the dense places where the jobs are.
In-N-Out is the best though :D

it starts the last week of Feb
my spring break is way too early to be called anything spring
Its just an idea right now...not sure if Im really going again or not. I noticed plane tickets are the cheapest in a very long time so I thought "Hmm...Cali for a 3rd yr in a row? Do I really need it?.....Yes...I do"
So, now Im workin out where Im stayin w/ friends, possible plans, whos doin what and when, etc. Mostly, I want In-n-Out and weather over 20*...

the reason ca has a bigger smog problem than other states is exactly the same reason people want to live there, the weather. its a very stable atmosphere over ca for the most part(good weather, and fog/low clouds) there arent very many frontal systems or tropical weather systems that move through(like in most other regions) to mix up that atmosphere and clean the smog out every once in awhile.
and well traffic is just bad in every big city.
pdigg if you do end up going out there at the same time as me pm me and i'll treat you to in-n-out.

I've been there...too many times to count. I still can't wait for it to become Arizona Bay (and that's not a Tool reference...it's a Bill Hicks reference).

Hmmm...if given a choice...I'd say somewhere in the southwest...or maybe Pacific northwest. It's nothing against the people of California really. I just have a hatred by association. I have bad memories of Cali.

i'd have to agree with the southwest, its very nice out here.

I'll take dry heat over the kind of "oh shit somebody help me I can't breath" moist heat we get here in the summer. As for the Pacific northwest...hate the weather but I've got friends there.
