2003 = Mustang Cobra (c'mon...what'd you expect? 380rwhp with IRS...yum)

2004 = remains to be seen. I'm a big fan of the new Shelby Cobra Concept, though.

rx-8... how the hell does that even get consideration as a top car? it is SLOW, simply put, ugly, and has an awful playskool toy interior...

the g35c outperforms the rx-8 in every way... it would have to be a MUCH better choice for car of 2003 then the 8

I'm a huge fan of the Z, obviously, but I don't think its the best car of 2003.

In 04, keep an eye on the Titan. First full-size foriegn truck in the US... should be interesting:yes:

I'm in a fair amount of agreement there. Didn't a ton of RX-8s get recalled because the performance quoted was way higher than what it actually delivered?

GT40- the rx8 was initially quoted as having 250hp (crank), then mazda corrected themselves and lowered that to 238. Dynos have proven the true number to be around 225-230, even lower than Mazda will admit. So... basically they f*cked up- the power loss was due to last-minute ECU remapping to comply with emissions standards in the US...

krwheeler85- the Tundra is, to be technical, a 7/8 size truck, so not full size;)

the titan is out, seen it today at the dealer. It will never overtake the F150, nothing will. I think ford will always controle the full size truck market. The F150 is 2 steps ahead of every other truck.

its .5 ' shorter than the full size f150, but hey its got that nifty rear sliding window!!!!

Has anyone seen the new Dodge SRT-10s? They're getting soooo lazy over there at Chrysler. Sure, just drop a Viper motor into a truck, slap a 6spd on it and sell it for 50 F@CKING THOUSAND DOLLARS!. What the hell? I can get one of the next gen Lightnings with just as much (and maybe more) power for a whole $15K less. Dodge can suck it.
