Last night's LAN party...

...was great. We've been having LAN parties over at my friends house for quite a while, and its finally getting to the point where we have enough people to where its lots of fun.

Last nite we had 6 people, which meant even teams for Call of Duty. Warcraft III was great, too. ANd time went by really fast. Whats also great is getting new music and movies from everyone without having to search online for it. Aside from the circuit breaker tripping from too many systems on at once, it was a great night.

Does anyone else host or attend LAN partys? Does anyone even know what I'm talking about?

yeah, peoples systems messing up...I couldn't believe one of the guys were running Win ME!! after a lot of laughing we tried for like a half hour to get his machine to talk to all the WinXP machines...not easy.

If you've got a decent machine and dont mind wasting an entire day playing games, then you should definatly ask around and get it on one.

i've been to multiple lans and i'm in a gaming clan and play in the cyberathlete amatuer league for DoD

day of defeat...now thats a mod for half life I havent had the pleasure of playing yet. There are a bunch of games that I need to play and haven't. Battlefield 1942 is one, DoD is another, Army Operations just sounds fun, i'm sure there are others i cant remember.

We're having another LAN either the first or second week after the super bowl...if anyones in the Peoria, IL area and happens to have their computer with them, call me up! yeah right...

hehe the largest lan ive been to was 50 guys in one guys basement...yea he had a huge house and was like 45 lol

thats awesome! I'd love to get in on something like that! 25 guys on a team?! Thats not even possible on most games! and Geez, imagine the shit swap...
