I'd prefer a large truck and not a compact one, but that's certainly impressive

Sickest "car" I ever saw was an older body styled s-10 in ALL black... limo tinted window's with a 350 in it...

F'ing thing did a wheelie for a quarter mile + on the street infront of a car show... it was SICK.

You can "mate" any make anything to any make anything else... just about... it's just a matter of brackets or other means of mounting...

there's a whole site/company dedicated to putting chevy drivetrains in jaguars... it's called "jag's that run"...

Are you kidding? Hot rodders cannibalize cars parts all the time. On a lot of the old school hot rods you'll find a Chevy motor hooked up to a Chrysler Torqueflite tranny with a 9" Ford rear end. There's adapters for everything. As for a Corvette motor in a GM truck...seen it and seen it done better. A while back there was a Sonoma with a twin turbo 427 motor (which was pulled from a C5R) with AWD from a Denali that ran 10s pulling the wheels up. It blew up the transmission, but hey...speed has a price.
