i just read that bush wants to establish a colony on the moon and a manned mission to mars. now there are obvious political reasons behind this but at the same time its good to know that our government does remember that we have a space program, even though it really hasn't done much in space in the past 30 years, compared to what was done during the 50's and 60's at least.

and i saw that jpl tested an ion engine recently, wonder what kind of motor mounts i'd need to get that into a hatchback?

it might be an attempt to gain support much like jfk did in the 60's with our space program. remeber bush needs ever bit of support he can get right now with an election coming up, if a new space program does get considered, i hope(even though i know its not) its for good intentions, not to win a political war

You should all get this straight: Anything Bush ever says or does is so he can get reelected.

I for one am all for a good space program. How can we expect to some day eplore the universe if we just sit around and not even try to get to the moon. It is like saying I want to be the best import tuner and the only education you have is watching old episodes of hi rev tuners:no:

Yeah, and that differs from every other president how?

Anyway, I'm in support of the space program. I think advancing scientific knowledge is a very good thing.
