Conjunctivitis aka Pink Eye
This is the first time Ive had this "dirty disease" and let me tell you it sucks...
Id say its worse than the chicken pox because though it itches less one touch and you can infect soooo many people along with getting the bacteria onto other parts of the body (stomach, gums, etc)
Went in to the optomitrist today, got medicated drops...and promptly lost it within 30mins........
Went back and got another batch, which unfortunately is a different kind (needs to be applied more and THIS kind seeps through the soft tissue and after around 10mins ends up IN YOUR MOUTH! It tastes like....tissue paper (the streamer kind). If you dont know what it tastes like, I suggest you stay away from it.
Only good thing about the entire fiasco was the new super cute intern assistant at the optomitrist. It was her first day and she didnt know how ANYTHING worked in the lab...I felt so sorry I had to help her figure it out.
I also had to unfortunately correct her diagnosis of "allergy", which wouldve appeared in both eyes instead of just the left... Oh well...
Im going ask her out when I go back in for check up :) :D
