Alright I just bough tmy hid's and got them installed on my civic and I love them. I'm already thinking about putting a set in my fog lights. My question is this, do i have to purchase another kit or can I just get the hid bulbs and run them off the two ballast boxes that I have? If I can will that decrease the brightness of the lights. Somebody let me know.

"......It is Illegal to alter a stock Headlamp housing..... $250 fine if caught and convicted....... 4 points........." blah blah blah, cant remember what else the cop said i was laughing at my friend
and that is just the start, he got his liscence suspened cause he got so many points:

Illegal headlamps - 4 points
speeding - 3 points
reckless driving - 4 points
Illegal lane change - 2 points
just realizing that you went over the alloted amount of points in traffic violation, and having to wait for your mom to come pick you and a friend up at the police station - PRICELESS

I'm sure you'll need dedicated ballasts... all the stock cars that come with 2 or more sets of hid bulbs come with as many ballasts...

If you only needed one then you wouldn't have gotten 2 to go with you 2 headlights.
