if brakes on a jeep feel like absolute mushy crap,
and the pads/rotors are fine (like new) , the bb is fine, the mc is in great shape and full of heavy DOT3, and there is no air in the lines (bled them 3x per corner)....
what the hell is the problem??
Its getting kinda stupid rediculous. Ive been trying to get these things to work well for over a week with the same results.
My brain is about out of "ideas"...anyone for more insight?

jeeps have spungy pedals... as do most car designed for the mass'...
My dad's benz has a pedal like a bucket of wet rags...
as long as they're doing their job it's fine...
the cause I believe is softer compounds used in the brake lines... get her some SS lines... dat shi0t will be mad tizite.

hey brakes on them new ones suck. they had a recall on them when we got ours and still have not got the problem solved so we sold the damn thing. We had to replace the brakes like 3 times in a month.. thats horrible

My parents have had 2 jeeps... the older boxy cherokeer... and the first year or so of the newer cherokee.
Both felt like crap stopping but did so adequetly... the pedals were both soft and crappy...
EVERY jeep I've driven at a garage has felt the same way... they all brake ok... it just doesn't feel like it through the pedal or from the seat... but they do stop.
I'm pretty sure they almost all have rear drums too... which certainly doesn't help for feel.

thing is, my mom has only owned jeeps as long Ive lived...and ive driven each of them (even the '86 when I was 8) and none of them had brakes like this
I guess chalk it up to them becoming crappy chrysler pos

the new jeep grand cherokee brakes SUCK. both my ex-GFs parents have them, and the brakes oscillate every time!!! Slowing down/braking on the interstate, the car SHAKES violently. It shakes bad every time you brake, worse the higher the speed. They took the car to the dealer, but he gave them the typical "its common, so its ok" lecture, and they believed him...
