hey guys , i dont have the new fuel pump yet but when my car idleing all the lights get dim when i hit the gas they get noticely birghter, could it be because of the full pump do u think?

sounds more like an electrical problem than the fuel pump...

its probably related to why your car isnt making the power its supposed too, which i dont think has anything to do with the fuel pump.

who knows and cares my cares smokin a storm up and im bettin head gasket worst part never got to take above 3500 RPM because of the damn fuel pump...:loco: :loco:

sorry to hear that man. what makes you think its the fuel pump that keeps you from revving it past 3500?
this is another reason i dislike swaps, its a gamble.

i think you really just need to do a check on everything. take it completely apart and reassemble it while checking every spec of the motor.

its your alternator. The diodes in your alternator are bad.
