see the circled part above? now what do you do with that when you try to install an air filter?? i'm confused.. :confused:

just looks like an air flow sensor...just tap into the intake tube (if thats what youre asking

its not an intake, its just the filter for now. unless you mean just tap into the pipe before you would get to the filter, whereas you mean drill a hole and stick it in there?

i know i plan on it, but for now my friend (sohc_vtec 2NR) was just gonna give me a filter he has laying around and i was gonna try it out, so i was wondering what to do with the sensor?

youre just changing a filter? you wont have to do anything to the maf

he was gonna put in a cone filter instead of the flat type paper filter....so he has to remove the airbox in order to put in the cone filter..

Tap that hole biatch. Hehe. Yeah...like others said, just drill out the new filter tube and reinstall the sensor in the pipe.

neh, too much work, plus its cold as hell outside. I should be getting intake before the winter is done anywayz, so ill just wait intead of trying to mess around with the sensor.

extend the wires and place the fliter over it so that way no drilling is involved, and it will be 100% accurate

you'll figure it out. Just remember to always consider your air stream in relation to that MAF sensor. Get a short ram system.

it's the intake air temperature sensor, it needs to be in the air flow path

thanks thermal, plan on going to strip club on monday night, oh yea. I got bg skyline r34 die cast model for my birthday from g/f, it looks nice as hell
