Damn...a bunch of tat-less mf'ers here. I've got 3 and I'm planning on another one on my arm over winter break. Tattoos aren't for everyone, but I figured more people here would have some.

it depends a lot on detail, colors, etc. I'm a firm believer that tattoos are like teeth...everyone should have at least one.

I've got seven tattoos. I've posted one pic of my arm but haven't had the time to get the others pic'd. Tattoos on guys are extremely sexy!! Just an FYI, something to think about, there's on old saying that "Good tattoos ain't cheap and cheap tattoos ain't good." About $120 to $160 an hour is enough.

Thanks. The tribal flames are an addition to the arm band I already had years BEFORE Pam Anderson made arm bands "popular" for women.

Johnae,

Do you think the cheap tatto is ruined?

Cheap doesn't nessacarily mean that the tattoo is bad, just that the artist more than likely isn't very experienced or is not much in demand. A good artist is very in much demand, highly skilled and appointments are hard to get, therefore they can charge more $$ because of their rep. This does not apply to ALL cases, just the majority and also depending where the shop is because it costs more due to the cost of living in the area.

Exactly Blackwolf. This is especially true as you get more tattoos. I always go to the same guy and, while it was expensive at first cuz the guy is a great artist, he knows me now and knows I will only go to him so he cuts me deals. My back took 10 hours and he only charged me $400 and he even did it in one sitting (excluding smoke breaks, food, etc.). Anywhere else that would've probably cost me around $750-$1K. But it's first class so a cheap tattoo isn't always crap.
