I know That, that means there is something wrong with the tranny. So my question to you is if there is a way to for check a code like the check engine light. My cousins' 92 accord ex light started blinking after installing a radiator, There is nothing noticeably wrong with the tranny other than that light blinking. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i am sure he knocked the solenoid wires out. he should check for the tranny codes as he checks for the engine codes. the codes will be read from the d4 light on the dash.

just short the blue connector on the passanger side of the dash, then put the ignition in the run position and the d4 will start blinking the codes. a short blink will mean a code 1, 2 short blinks will mean a code 2, a long blink followed by a short blink means a code 11.

i am pretty sure he will get something in the 15-18 range

MINE DID that when speedometer needle stop or pulseated. but probly a loose connection and works fine now . your could be something else as long as you fluid is full and shifting smooth. i would try disconnect battery reset the computer.

Ok my cousin finally came around here so we checked his car and the D4 was binking twice (quickly) every three seconds, so I guess that's a code 2. What does that mean, did we have to count how many times it blinked twice? cuz we didn't. The ecu was reset and same problem. Thanks for the responses.
