96 si tails

ok guys heres what going on.

i need a 96-00 SI spoiler black. if you have one or know were i can get one cheap let me know.

but im looking for 96-00 SI taillights for my car 93 civic coupe. i want the clear on the bottom half not the top. any ideas on that? or were i can get them?

I highly doubt you'll find those tails...

Your best bet would be to try to find a set that are ALL clear and tint the top red... but you'll have to re-wire the lights to have them function properly..

I understand the difficulty of the lighting. I have a how to on wiring the lights to function properly. I don’t like clear on top. I have those now. Hmmm I heard of using vinyl to tint the lenses. On the outside of the lens. Do you think that would look good or bad?

If I were you I'd tape off the area I wanted clear... spray it with the red glass dye... then un-tape it and give the WHOLE lense either a clear coat or a VERY thing layer of black (smoke)...

That way the red has less of a chance of peeling and the whole thing will look more as a unit intead of looking taped/sprayed.

take pics... I want red/clears too but I can't stand how ANY of them look.

i will once i get my hands on a pair of clear tails. sense the DOT out lawed them they are hard to come by.

dude you can buy red/clears for EG's even on EBay. Friend of mine got some and they look hot.

would it be possible to shave 96-00 SI down to fit? or is this impossible becuase of were the lights screw in?

anything is possible...but the cost of getting ek tails to fit really outweighs them
I like the red on the bottom on eg's...maybe just because I think thats where it belongs...

99-00 si tails arent going to fit w/o some modification that you arent going to want to do.
there is no 96-98 Si in the states.......

fyi 96-98 Civic SI came to the states.

asylumm does not sell the style i wish to own.

Now how about buying Clears and doing a vinal decal to cover the upper part red. Would that work and look good? I would actually like to have the upper plastic part red. not with a sticker or some sort of paint.

no...there was no si civic in 96-98 in the usa...canada yes...but its tails were red and orange because it was an ex

are you sure. becuase i have seen 96-98 si civics, unless it is a bunch of gay peoeple putting emblems on their cars. even tho they dont have what it stands for..........

im looking for Red Clear Tail Lights 00 style. Red on top Clear on bottom. for a 93 civic. but it looks im going to have home make a damn pair. hmm anyone selling Clear Tails for really cheap?

He's sure... there's NO 96-98 si...

Last year it was produced was 92-95 and then again in 00/01 Not sure if they offered an si the first year of the newest gen civic though...

whoever you see that has a 96-98 si either did a conversion on their bumper covers, redid the interior, seats, bars, etc, or as you said, stupidly put si emblems on a non si civic
go find them and kick them in the shins

Those tail lights would definently look hot on your coupe, man. Its worth the search.

As for the wing, I have the midwing on my car and looks awsome! Though I've never seen one on a 92-95 Civic. Post some pics when you get it done.

i dont take things personally....if i did i probably kill myself.

plus what wouldnt work. the wiring is possible. its all in change were the bulb goes. dont have to re wire anything.

i have the red clears were the red is on the bottom half. i was just trying to see if i could do it the other way around. see if that looked better.

wasting money is a hobby of mine.

plus the spoiler option really kicks ass. i have gotten many good reviews from other import drivers.
