Has anyone seen any lighted decals out there? Saw them on a civic in yellow. They were on the side windows and looked pretty damn cool. Thinking of getting some , any info will be appreciated.

I think the term rice boy gets thrown around to freely nowadays. Everything on my car is stock and if I want to express some form of individuality I have to think twice out of fear of people calling me a rice boy. I agree that some cars look ****ing awful with all those stickers and others look classy and elegant with one or two. All this rice boy shit is getting old and I for one am sick of it.

You want individuality? Get a tattoo. There are always gonna be guys who'll call you riceboy cuz they drive domestics and think all imports are crap. No way around that. And honestly a Honda probably isn't the best route to individuality...your friend's got one, your mom's got one, and your teachers at school probably have them...but that goes for a lot of cars. But anything lighted on your car that isn't supposed to be is just asking for it (i.e. neons, lighted decals, windshield washer fluid squirter lights, those lame lighted valve stem caps and all that other gay shit). If you want exterior mods go for subtle and tasteful...not something that screams "Hey! Look at me! I like men!". :pukey

It's all good C. Post the link to your site I would like to check it out. The lights are about 2"x8" and made up of something that is called an el lamp. They are paper thin with an overlay decal that goes on top. First time I've seen anything like this, I found the site and ordered a set . They have a gallery section if you want to check it out www.trimlight.com

I for one think they are lame, seen it once and it just looks out of place (not to mention how much the 2fast2furious light sign on that website helps for my opinion)
I have those windshield washer lights on my car but I like them, but they are clear so they aren't too bad and they match my "hyperwhited" lights all the way around. to me when I brand a car and driver this so called "ricer" it needs a few specifications to qualify and I'm sorry but those signs fit in.
It's just too much "hey look at me"
P.s > I'm sorry if you may think this is mean but it's the truth and my opinion, I haven't ever sugar coated what I beleive and I never will

I like to keep the stock look of the car mostly, then some ricer comes up and tries to races you and their like "oh look hes all stock" which means i dont have a Type R sticker which boosts their car 30 HP, then just blow their a**es away:yes:
