Last night at 17:20PM the power went off when I playing the video game. All the power went out then I went to the movie with my brother to see "Scary Movie 3", and I saw the lighting-strike over the power line. Very strong wind outside that the reason of the smoke came from the wildfire in CA. So, it's the 1st blackout since I was in Philippines the rest house got all the power are off. Now the power are bacxk on in 21:00PM.
Have you been the blackout in your house?
Anyway, do you understand me?

Yeah, back in a storm in '96, we were without power for 4-5 days. That really sucked!

Well, I would have been in the "Blackout of 2003", except I was in Florida on vacation, asleep on the couch after golf.
Smoke from the CA wildfires? That's a long ways away.

we just suffered a black out in Ohio for about 15 hours which happened in June so i guess it's the same way down there.

*cough*... Memphis was hit by 100mph straight-line winds over basically the entire city... 800,000+ people without power in a city of 1 million... I was without it for two weeks, as was most of the city including businesses, street lights, etc. Not to mention trees were down EVERYWHERE blocking streets etc...

Lost power for a week after Hurricane Erin hit Northwest Florida a few years back.
