I am publicly voicing my opinion-

this new ebay motors popup is the worst ever...not only is it popup stopper Pro proof, but you cant close it with just alt+f4...it follows you down the page and takes up too much room. AND, Ive already clicked on it twice by missing the X while trying to close it

its like...its like those damn ghosts in mario...always there when you least expect it and follow you around

Disabling 3rd party cookies can rid some of these popups. I've never seen this Ebay popup and I don't use a blocker.

i second your opinion...this ebay motors crazy popup is really starting to piss me off. If it was a normal window it would be no problem, i'd just right click close it before it has a chance to open like all the others. undoubtedly ebay knows this is how most people without popupstoppers work and made this stupid (i'm assuming javabased?) popup.

take it off, please!

I don't see any popup....where is it? Just ebaymotors.com??? Does it load every time?

I'm running Mozilla and using its built-in popup filter.

yah it's god awful annoying....During my travels on HST it stalks me probably about 5 or 6 times....it's something to do with bidding to get a chance to win 10k to "trick" out your car. I just ignore it and it goes away.

i have 3rd party cookies blocked and it pops up.........most fgt popup ever.

good reason to not log onto this site just cuz of that stupid popup.

I've had problems with the stupid ads trying to access ActiveX controls, it crashes my IE. I can't surf the site anymore with IE, I can only get it to work with Mozilla.

I don't care if the site is getting money from it. If I can't use the site, it doesn't really matter to me whether it exists or not.

I support HST however there's only a certain amount of trouble or frustration I'll tolerate before I'll simply stop using the site. If I stop using it then there's definitely no way the site gets any money from me.......pissing off the members is counterproductive. It may get you cash in the short-run, but it only serves to alienate the very customers who bring you the cash in the long run.

The pop-up is only for a little while longer. Yeah, I know it's not the greatest thing to encounter, but real world is that there is a cost associated with running a site. Unless people want to start making donations, we have to rely on advertising to help absorb some of our expenses.

It's not that often that we allow this type of creative ad unit to run, but occasionally we have to cave in and do what we gotta do.

Hang in there and just remember it's for a good cause ;)

agreed...I think we all could spare a few dollars for the site
the truely hardcore hst people would donate for sure

I had a donation button on the site for quite some time, but all it did was collect dust. To anyone interested in donating to a worthy cause, here's the link:

https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=sales%40vrating.com&item_name=HS+Tuners&no_note=1&tax=0&currency_code=USD

The paypal email address will show as webmaster@vrating.com (that's the primary email address for the paypal account), but you'll see the description is HS Tuners. I greatly greatly appreciate the kind thought for anyone willing to spare some change.

I'm glad someone else (or even others) feel the same way. I understand that it take money to run the site and I totally respect that. But isn't the Ebaymotors.com popup enough? What's with this Macromedia-looking thing that's a blatant attempt to circumvent popup blockers? I can't imagine the draw from Emode and Matchmaker and the other half dozen popups I get here are that bad.

i hate the ones that, as soon as they pop up they move your mouse to the center of them. You'll be clicking away at a webpage, one of those will come up and you'll end up clicking it.
