99 EX have a VTEC?

Alright, im pretty confused here, back when I bought my car the dealers were telling me that it didnt have a vtec and only the si's did. But I had done a little research and saw a couple review sites that said it did. Now the car dosent say vtec under the door like some models and it dosent say on the engine either, but I looked into the manual and it says the 99 ex, hx, and si (in canada) have the vtec, so im just confused.

Also if I do have it, how can you tell the difference from the vtec with the other stock honda engines?

EX has SOHC vtec, SI is a DOHC engine.

and as its been said, yes you have vtec

call the dealership and have them fire whoever told you it didnt
