I don't know what the hell the problem is, but when ever i floor it and rpms are under 3k, then the car bogs for a second and then just goes like normal. What the hell is the problem? Anyone have any ideas?

hooohaa2 , don't waste my time with posts like that..
I was debating about the tune up. But i was wondering why it did that. I was thinking something with fuel delivery.

it may be an ignition problem. faulty plug/wire.

I have run into a timing problem with similar symptoms. I can't remember if I advanced or retarded timing, but that was the problem (might not be the same in your case, this was pretty severe bogging, then running like the dickens). I think I had to advance the timing.
replace your fuel/air filters.

You would have advanced the timing.. doubt its a filter issue though..

i think it's a timing issue, or a valve adjustament. after i did my valve adjustament the car came back to normal.
and if you plan on modfying the igniton timing setting you need to advance it, not retard it.

id check for a fouled plug first...then the fuel filter
after those Id take it in for a checkup...may be in need of a valve adj.

maybe your flooding the throttle when you floor it and the fuel delivery tries to catch up with the preasure it dumps too much fuel into the intake which in turn would call for a tune up (i think)

thanks guys but i got it. I did half of a tune up. Replaced all the plugs, air filter (it needed it) and the oil. There were two plugs that were gapped at 54 thousands of an inch instead of the 44 thousands they were supposed to be. Now all is well.
