you might want to focus on Nitrous with the combination of new headers, intake and exhaust. play your cards right and you should be able to achieve all of the above under 1000. look around for the best deals. check nopionline.com they have everything.

a few ideas if 1000$ is all i would ever spend on the car as far as power adders go:
the simple route:
zex nitrous kit: $475
cold air intake: $180 or so
header: $295
test pipe: $50
harder route:
cheap ass turbo setup $1000
hardest route:
OEM high compression pistons w/rings: $200 or so
cam w/ cam gear: $290 or so
zex nitrous kit: $475
K&N drop in filter: $35
remove resonantor crap: free

I'd get your suspension first, and that could run you $1k or more depending on what you choose.
What are your goals for the car? Autox? Drag? Street?

i'd say focus on the suspension and get that taken cared of...even if you have little hp at least you'll "put it to the ground" more efficiently and it'll help a great deal if you have a turbo

Now im going to grab some rims and new tires, but I was wondering, on Ebay there are tons of white 17''s Buy Now for like 350-400, are they crap because their so cheap? or just a good deal? (the brands are Eagle, RSS Diawa, and ADR GT)

all those companies you just mentioned for wheels......are crap.
Rota.....is cheap and good quality.
save your money until you can afford wheels, tires, shocks/springs/coilovers at the same time.
be patient.....dont just think cuz you have $1000 you need to spend, thats when most of the kids go out and buy fgt led washer nozzles or led muffler tips.....
save your money and do things right......
performance in an EX isnt really there, unless you do a turbo build. So either swap or go turbo later on.....suspension FIRST!

i beg to differ, ADR makes rather nice wheels. they just have alot of people cloning them and selling them as oringinals

i wouldn't rate rims based on brand, but rather its build quality, materials used, method used to create the rims.. etc

Get rims at least if u wanna go for looks but they will slow u down if u want hp start saving and get a turbo.

oh but as far as the 1000 bux...
I'd get some hp before anything else...
re-read azcivic's post... that's really the best route's to go.
