Planning on dropping a b16a1 into my 1991 CRX HF. What am i getting myself into? Or any main problems i should watch out for?

b18 or b16? either way your going to need new shift linkage, special mounts, a wiring conversion from dual point to multi point, different axles, etc. I would suggest reading articles online (they are hard to find, but enough googling and you'll find the good ones) I'm still not sure on what axles are required. I've heard hood clearance is a problem on dohc engines, but I'm not sure.
Are you planning on building the engine or at least rebuilding the engine before dropping it? either way I would replace things while its easy (water pump, tinming belt, clutch, etc.)
you'll probably spend an extra 2k getting the thing in, assuming you are smart and replace things as you go.
remember to label EVERY wire and hose for reconnection later.
I think the smartest thing to do would be to buy yourself a cheap beater car to run around in while you work on your car at your leisure.
