My bro-in-law is trying to get a car that gets good gas mileage, and he knows how I want a newer car. So he sold his Bronco 4x4 for 6,500 and told me if I can find a car that price or lower he would buy me that car and swap titles with me.

Yesterday I stopped in at this little dealership and found a 1999 Honda Civic EX for sale. I called the place earlier today and they said they wanted 9,995 for it - know they probably didn't pay 6 something odd dollars for the car. I have about 800 something odd dollars in my savings right now which boosts us up to little over 7 g's. You think we could talk the people down and be able to buy the car?

its probable that theyd take less. 10K, thats what they want for it, but theyd take less for sure....if they dont, just walk away. The problem with civics is that they hold their value for a long time...me paying 8K for my 97 isnt too rare, although I do feel raped on the price, I needed a car and it was what i wanted in great shape.

Yeah. I really wouldn't mind having that car, it's really nice. Honda's really do hold their vaule too. I'm about to go get a all wheel alignment for my car now, I dropped it Thursday.

Yea i dont think that they will drop their price down 3k because they would propbably going with a loss on that. i dont think that they would take less than 8 for it.
