i sucked up water through my cold air intake which i didn't install an airbypass valve. my engine died and i tried restarting it a lot of times. the engine started and i have been driving it for a wk. its been making a knocking noise so i decided to take the engine apart. once disassembled, i found that the 1st and 2nd connecting rod was bent. the only damage that it made to the block is the very bottom edge where the piston is at its lowest. there is no visible cracks within the cylinders. my question is, am i still able to use the block? any feedbacks are appreciated. thanks!

how bad is the damage?

use -whatever that tool is called- to take measurements at different points in the cylinder and if they're all with in factory specs then it should be ok, assuming that damage you taled about isnt bad. i'd get .5mm overbore pistons and bore the cylinders to match though.

hell while you're in there why dont you put in some eagle rods and srp pistons. then turbo! and if the cylinders are messed up then just get the block resleeved at golden eagle or something.
