Never been so upset in my life!

Ok, everyone knows how i just got my car painted a month ago and ALL the dents got fixed, all the rust AND all the scratches and shit right. Anyways, 2 days ago the rust was peaking thru and weird spot, SOO i got that fixed and got my mirrors painted to match.
THEN last night as we left a party, i parked over on the shoulder of this gravel road and this stupid a**hole tries to be funny and comes ripping up the road behind 4 vehicles and half on the ditch, half on the road and my firiend who was in my car opened the door at the wrong time and the a**hole hit my door. He was sorta my accquantice and anyways. I cussed the shit out of him and i was raging because my car was looking so good and i was getting compliments on it and there was NOTHING wrong with the body. it looked immaculate. Anyways, the next morning i went to the body shops for estimates and it will be about $1200 to fix. So i told this to the guy who hit me and he doesn' twant to pay!! He says he'll pay the majority but doesn't think he should pay the whole amount!! BULLSHIT! He expects me and my friend to help him pay! WTF is that about? I am so mad. I am giving him til midnight tonite to come up with source of money to pay me or i'm reporting him to the cops. I am so freakin angry. He doesn't want to go thru insurance because he drives a POS and has no collision. SOO, i am going to take my buddy that opened the door and take him as a witness when i report to the cops. I just have to keep my tinted windows rolled down so i don't get a ticket.
Man this has been the worse month ever.....went thru 2 sets of headlights in a month, fresh paint started to rust, drivers mirror broke, front bumper signal light broke and smashed, and now this.

I don't know the whole situation..i.e. where your car was exactly, where his car was, but typically... the person who opens the door is at fault. If I am parked on the side of the street, and a car comes by and clips my door as I open it, it was my fault because I am supposed to check for traffic before opening the door.

Good point, but he said the car was driving up the ditch too. I figured that the car was off the road when he got hit. If he just opened the door when a car was coming, he'd probably be at fault, unless you could prove that the other guy was recklessly driving.

he hit my passanger side door, that means he was in the ditch. I reported it and he is at fault. The said i shouldn't have parked and opened the door but my buddy checked and there was no one coming. There was 4 vehicles behind me and the guy that hit me passed all of them in the ditch too then came up and hit me. I am still freakin mad. You NEVEr pass anyone on the right hand side. especially when there is PLENTY of room on the left. The cop told me that it is an offense to open the door into traffic. So i said "ok then sir, how the hell do you get out of your car when you go up town?" ....he was quiet for awhile and then replied..."uhm, uh, you gotta be careful"...i was like "BUDDY, we checked and there was no one coming, then BAM"....i hate cops..all should die

Haha.. well if you think that's bad you need to come to california or the south where they will drag your ass to jail for talking to them like that. Sounds like your cops don't have and balls if they let you talk to them like that.
