I got a little too happy with the outcome of my custom intercooler. Instead of waiting to install my 255 LPH, i went ahead and tried boosting 10psi on stock internals and stock fuel pump. No pinging! I will install the pump in a few weeks tho.
Here's the install pic:

what else have you done to your d16? larger injectors? or is everything stock?

DSM 450cc injectors (modified to compensate saturation, vice peak and hold). 10 psi, everything stock, to include timing. Not to worry, I've done my research. The AFC 'hack' actually advances timing to 7.9 degrees by 10 psi on the Virginia weather. Dyno research states that it will be fine as long as I maintain using 93 and up octane. I do plan on retarding 2 degrees later just to be safe. By October, this project will stop. I have got to start a new project with a B20z turbo.
Thanks for everybody's compliment:yes:

I dont know..... I hope at least 200whp. I cant wait to tune this "hack" on the dyno. I really just want this car to be my daily driven car. I'm planning on getting me a Hatchback and drop a B20 plus turbo.
again thanks for everybody's compliments:yes:

Man that intercooler looks sick on your car. I hope you'll have over 200 whp when you get dynoed. Good luck!
