First off, thanks to everybody.

I've done ALOT of googling in the last two days but still had
a hard time finding out what I needed to know until I posted
here.

Ive got a 2000 EX 4Door (Canadian: non vtec) Non V-Tec is
disappointing but I'm still liking the car.

And like I said, I'm hooked. I'm gonna work on the interior for now, but I'm gonna start becoming a full time junkyarder.

Sooo, I've got another question:

What different engines can I fit into a 2000 Civic EX? Apparently
there are NO V6's that'll fit, and there are some popular swaps that I have read about, but I'd like to know if say...a B16A2/3 engine would fit and pose little problem if I took care of the suspension and tranny as well.

I dont mind if I gotta cut here, and weld there...it looks like Im into
this for the long run, lol.

And what else would need to be changed? (im guessing the tranny, suspension and various electrical..anything else?)

This isn't gonna happen for about a year or so, so Ive got alot of time to research but I wanna start 'yarding now coz you never know...

And I doubt it...but if there's a list somewhere that you could point me to, then that'd be cool too.

^^ Check out hybrid's website, http://tech.hybridgarage.com/index.html , or check the forum link for Hybrid under tech talk from the main forum page. B16 is going to be the easiest and more rewarding. There are unlimited options though, money is the biggest issue.

Any OBD1 (92-95) or OBD2 (96-00) civics are great flatforms for any B-series and H-series upgrade, meaning it will fit. You will need a fabricated mounting brackets to make the engine sit in your bay properly. Check out http://www.hasport.com/ to get more info. It even has the procedures on some swaps. You also need a tranny and ECU. Be advised that some B trannies are cable tranny which will require small fabrication of the link. Hasport sells those links as well. Goodluck and keep us posted

I really like this forum alot, but if you want alot of good info on swaps checkout hondaswap.com

the 2k civic si came with a b16, meaning that any B motor you want will fit your car. if you really want to do a swap then don't waste your money on anything non performance related, just save up so that you can get whatever motor you decide on
