tranny question

I got a 90 crx si and whenever I race, I always grind second gear. I never grinded 3rd or 4th. I just got a new clutch put in like two months ago. could this mean that my tranny is starting to go bad.

did it do it before you put the clutch in ?

Do you have a short shifter in it. I sometimes grind first and second a little bit when I'm racing, because the throw is shorter..

Yeah I grinded before I got the new clutch, and that was with a stock shifter. Now after I got the new clutch I installed a shortshifter. I have to shift really slow to not grind.

Assuming your clutch is clutching (pedal adjusted correctly)... if you dbl clutch is the grinding better or the same?
