Metal Hub Centric Ring?

I was looking for some rota rims and i came across these "ROTA WHEEL METAL HUB CENTRIC RING" and i was wondering if they are a necessity to having rota rims? anybody have experience with these?

they are not necesarry provided you tighten the lug nuts a bit at a time. i have the z racing rims and i lost 2 of the rings. never had any problems with centering the wheel

I dont have them on my Rotas, I havent had any problems at all.

kinda strange thing, rotas are...some people really need these, some people dont.
