would this be a good short shifter to get ?

I'm asking cuz it only costs $40, where as i've seen them go as high as $90.

first of all that's not a short shifter, it's a short shifter adapter, and from what i heard it will mess up your sincros because the angle of the cable. look for a b&m short shifter

Adapters are pretty nice, but if you're willing to spend more you can get a new stick. I have a P-Spec true short shifter from when he was first introducing them. The shifts are a lot shorter than stock and pretty smooth for the most part.
If you're looking for an adapter, I recommend B&M.

Well they did. I owned one and just sold it to VTracer

Sweet! Glad you got it figured out.
Anyway, I got the true SS from PSPEC racing. The guy who started it used to be on superhonda, but I don't remember his username. Its ok, but I'm not sure it was worth the money.
