i don't know but even if you get in the exhaust land you will see the selection for the dx/lx models is scarce.

You don't read many threads around here do ya? jfwy...
it's because the cat is directly under the 1st part of the many on yours....
there's a post here about it.

here's a quote from nekcuttr...
i dint realize it but when i bought my header i bought it as an ex header (mines lx) well i had to make another 02 sensor whole in the header i bought so it would work on my 01 lx well the exhaust manifold at the time i dint realize it but has a cat on the bottom of it well my check eng light stays on cuz of that but my car runs fine and this must be why they do not or dont make many headers for 01 Civ LXs

the LX pretty much has two cats on it one after the exhaust manifold and one b4 the muffler traditional spot the one that has the sensor is after the exhaust manifold so no one is going to make a header with a cat on the opening if they did it would be very expensive

you can buy an 02 ex header and add the hole for the extra sensor but the check engine liight will stay on like mine dont worry bout it fitting cuz it will but you will have problems if you are tryin to hook ur stock exhaust up to the header bcuz the flange is different

buy an EX header, make a hole. Go to a junkyard and get an EX flange. Then hit up a muffler shop to weld it on. Then get some aftermarket muffler or catback and run that from a pipe that the muffler shop will weld from the flange.

mines a 98 LX, but i got some DC sport headers, i redid the whole exhaust at the time, so they put on a new cat and piping and stuff too, it seems to have worked, dont get a check engine light or anything....

You can do it it's just costly...
you have to get the header for an ex... AND the cat AND the catback exhaust... it'll all bolt up and it shouldn't trip any codes... as long as 1 o2 is before the cat and the other is after...
good luck but like mentioned... if you're not doing this yourself and getting GOOD deals on the parts it would only cost a SMALL amount more to get a turbo setup... and the gains would be MUCH better with the turbo obviously.

my whole thing ran 650 =T is something up?
i jus got a muffler, piping, DC sport 4-2-1 ceramic headers, and a catalytic converter...

^ you sure they put a new cat on there or just made the old one fit?
and p.s. you got A header not a pair of headers.
It's possible...
header 300
exhaust 300
cat 50-100
you could do it even cheaper buying used... So not really in the neighborhood of turbo but... if you were going all top of the line name brand it probobly would be.
