my friend was telling me that on his se-r when he puts a header on it he will have to relocate the o2 sensor after the cat. am i going to have to do anything like that? i got the powertech 4-2-1.

well after only a few months it rusted to shit (oh yeah good ceramic coating there...), bent inward on the bottom (not its fault...I blame the airport and all its damn speed mountains) but its very thin metal nonetheless...I recommend a skid plate custom mounted on these bitches. Also there is like 0 tech invloved in this sucker...its like they just made measurements and built it...didnt do research...

I actually am thinking of re-mounting my stock one

I got a chikara from headman and I'm more than happy with it... I'm sure it'll rust if I don't high-temp coat it but it gave good improvements... across the board too.

i dint realize it but when i bought my header i bought it as an ex header (mines lx) well i had to make another 02 sensor whole in the header i bought so it would work on my 01 lx well the exhaust manifold at the time i dint realize it but has a cat on the bottom of it well my check eng light stays on cuz of that but my car runs fine and this must be why they do not or dont make many headers for 01 Civ LXs

^ so you're not running a cat?

If so get one on there... it's just not worth it not to... if you get caught w/o a cat I think they burn you at the stake now...

yeah, i hate that. i thought i'd die of impatience when i got my exhaust in the mail. i got it on a wednesday, and since i have almost no time after classes, i had to wait until saturday to go to the shop to put it on. i guess it made it all the more fun when i did get to bolt it on.

what are you talking about... header is barely a "na" build... it's just a bolt on... beyond that it doesn't even come close to comparing to forced induction.. you won't get ANY kind of power like FI doing NA without MAJOR work... probobly MUCH more money than a decent turbo build...

I agree with nonov. I used to have and I/H/E set-up which cost pretty daym close to a GReddy turbo kit which is now a days can be purchased between $1200-1400 (without the FMIC).

I had the DC 4-1 which basically made my thermal R&D exhaust a little louder and deeper. I didnt feel any difference at all even after my buddy and I slapped an AEM CAI in place on my DC short ram.
