sportline make the car lower than prokit. sure their stiffer so get better handling but lose more comfort.

so which is better... low and soft... or lower and stiffer? which is good for stock shocks... which aftermarket shocks would work with the EIBACH springs for 03 civic si?

totally your choice in what you want in looks, comfort and handling. standard shocks wear very fast with lowering springs so aftermarket worth doing while changin springs as well. dont know that much on subject but thats my bit. loads of aftermarket shocks to choose from but youll get answers like this is better than that and so on. personally planning on gettin some koni .

prokits dont drop the car as much as the sportlines do...plus the sports are softer (if i remember right...no im too lazy to check :D )

and like iceman said, stock shocks will only last a little while (yr tops) before they blow after you lower the car (maybe longer w/ the prokits). But before they go, the ride is going to suck... So, get new better shocks when you drop...Koni is the best for the price range IMO...if price is no object get zeal ;)

pro-kit's are PROGRESSIVE rate springs

sportlines are LINEAR rate springs.

the sportlines SUCK SUCK SUCK... they're too stiff and REALLY bouncy...

the prokits are smooth and nice till you get on them then they stiffen up when they need to.

yeah, pretty much any springs that are progessive would be a nice choice..i think they offer comfort yet provide the stiffness whenever its needed..
