Yoda vs. Neo

Okay..so I work at a video store, Hollywood Video to be exact, and some nights it is very slow. So some of the guys, you know since were nerds and shit, think of dumb stuff, so we thought lets think of people and/or characters and make them fight another person and/or character. We came up with a few dumb ones, such as Bruce Willis the size of Godzilla Vs. Godzilla himself and then we would debate on who would win. And we would do this a with a bunch of different characters and such.
Then we got to Neo from the Matrix vs. Yoda from Star Wars, and well we debated and debated on who would win. We could never agree on the same answer. We would ask customer after customer on who they think would win and they would all say different answers and different reasons so we would debate that too. We could never come up with an answer, and we still argue about it every day..lol
So... let me know who you guys think would win the fight, Neo or Yoda, and give your reasons on who you think too.

but would neo be the size of yoda or yoda be the size of neo?

yea..but what would he need flying for if they are going to fight??...plus..yoda never uses a gun so what would stopping bullets have anything to do with it?

and neither..they would be the same size as they are in the movies...yoda also has the force and can see into the future...neo can not....

because i'm gonna step in and fill the whole world up with water and the only way to survive is to stay above the water level...

now, yoda not can fly. so that concludes he'll stay under the water and neo would be able to fly above sea level.

why couldnt he use the mind trick? Obiwan could...and yoda is 10x more powerful

plus he could just levitate neo into the air and then take him out when he is immobilized

obiwan did it in the 1st...4th...movie whatever (the original 1st)
to the storm troopers "you dont need to see any identification" something like that. the storm trooper says the same thing and then ingores luke, the droids and obiwan (right before the bar)

and it doesnt matter if neo can fly...if yoda can lift him off the ground...he can surely keep him from moving around.

yoda could cut him w/ lightsaber, totally clear his mind, toss him around a room against walls, maybe even rip his body into pieces....no one knows the true extent of a jedi's power

neo can just...bend the rules of the matrix

A. Yoda CAN fly... he just needs to levitate himself...

yoda is simply a computerized character which without a computer cannot do ANYTHING...

neo, on the other hand could just unplug the damn computer and yoda will be GONE.

no..when i say them two fight...they fight in the matrix....but yoda can also still use the force..

oh and yoda is a combination of puppets (well he used to be) and cgi.

but thats the same thing as saying...is there really a matrix???and if there is how would yoda get into it seeing how he doesnt have the plug thingy in the back of his neck??...also would neo be anywhere near a phone if he was in the real world while fighting yoda???

i'd have to say Neo...yoda did impress me in the last movie but neo would take the cake...he could just use his focus shizzle and slow things down...and then kick his ass

i agree with kyle....ive stuck with neo the whole time...and im sticking with neo....yoda is good and could beat a lot of people...but i think neo would beat him

yoda doesn't have to be in the matrix...

all neo has to do is unplug the computer that CREATED yoda...

in other words, mankind is above computer.

without mankind, computers wouldn't exist...if computers didn't exist, yoda wouldn't exist.

I just saw the Matrix Reload and all his cool moves are in my head so I would say neo. And from what I understood, he could slightly predict the future too now...

Weeee! This thread was fun and all, but here's the breakdown:

Yoda rules, and Neo is just a pansy. Therefore, Yoda would win. Why you say? Glad you asked. See, while Yoda was kicking his ass, Neo would just be crying and taking it because you knew that no matter how much he altered the Matrix (or didn't alter it, since he doesn't use that ability anyway) he could just never be as cool as Yoda.

Neo is supposed to have all these awesome abilities in the Matrix, but never seems to use them. Yoda on the other hand, seems to have no problem using whatever extent of his powers he needs to to get the job done. Plus, he is skilled with a light saber, so he would still spank Neo in a straight sword fight.

By the way, this fight isn't supposed to take place necessarily in the Matrix or out of it. It is simply Neo with his Matrix powers vs. Yoda. Or at least I'm pretty sure that's what he meant. But surely with my stunning intellect and unmatchably logic, no one needs to argue any more since I have already won. :hypnotic:

but it seems as though you're judging by 'popularity' or 'coolness'.

yoda has some power, which he showed all on the movie(which wasn't that much).

neo, on the other hand, HAS those powers but tend to leave it behind and use his OWN skills instead of his intense powers.

a champion never fights a amateur...

so therefore, neo KNOWS yoda is no match for him once he unleashes his powers.

Okay this is beginning to sound like an argument between bunch of 300 pound adult comic freaks. But besides that Yoda would kick ass. One slice of the light saber and Neo would be half the man he used to be. Yoda can probably stun him horribly and then finish him off.:cool:
