Aren't they normally yellow where the blinker is? At least I know they are in the front. Hmmmm. I don't have front blinkers anymore but I still have the stock ones at home. Isn't the rear yellow too?

Yeah, they are usually yellow. :o

But you can replace them with red bulbs. Ive seen green ones, blue ones, you name it.. They probably arent really legal though.

Yeah, I'm not really too sure of the law but I know it's something like you can't have those other colors as they're for emergency
vehicle use or something to that extent.

umm...i'm 99.9% sure that turn signals can only be red on the REAR taillights. For the front they must be yellow, amber, maybe white. if they were red in front that could be considered reserved for emergency vehicles (flashing red).

Stay legal, its a lot easier on your wallet. focus on the things that matter.

I've got tails housed in carbon fiber and it's all clear where the blinker is so I had to get the white (Xenon) bulbs or it would have looked stupid.

I think thats the case.. Rears can be red, but your fronts have to be amber. :yes:

Front = yellow (or any shade of yellow..)
Rear = yellow or red.

Or yellow.

Yellow only in the front. Technically white turn signals in the front are illegal, but only a ricer would get ticketed for it. :)

Personally, I think that Yellow ought to be the ONLY color allowed for front AND rear. I absolutely HATE red turn signals on the rear. They suck, they're less safe.

i agree that rear turn signals SHOULD be yellow because when people have one side rear brake light out and they brake on and off, it sometimes looks like they are signalling. I talked to the local "vehilce inspector" dude here in my town. It was awhile ago but i think he said, red and yellow and amber for rear lights. White and amber for front lights. I THINK.

it is leagle to run reds in the front

like said above the 2k1 and up civics have red fronts

you cant have blue or green
any other color is "technicly" leagle
if you are ever unsure about the laws look up the revised code of "your state"
