There's a guy around here that did turbo'd a 2.5RL. It looks really tight, but didn't get the performance he wanted out of it. It "only" runs a 13.7. Seems to me that it would better suited at AutoX.

If you want to risk that kind of wear and tear I guess that would be alright. They weigh quite a bit also almost 3000lbs if I remember correctly. Don't quote me on this weight. Going from memory.

3k lb AWD car is light, make no mistake about that. and the torque a turbo'ed 2.5 puts down is insane, it is a better auto-x car to a point, the problem is it makes so much torque when you come on boost the car just gets super upset. w/o race rubber it' a real PITA to drive. i'm doing a STi RA block(EJ20 w/ forged internals) and full drivetrain replacement in the near future. Just waiting for the ECU tuning software to be avialable.

are all the subaru blocks called ej ? i know the 93 legacy has a ej22a
