Well, I took the 350z to the track for the first time tonight. I wasn’t thrilled with the results, but they weren’t too bad. I had no closed-toe shoes, so had to borrow a friend’s clogs which were awful for shifting, and on the last run I took them off and ran barefoot. Traction SUCKED, first run I spun tired all the way through 3 gears and just coasted to the line, knowing I screwed up and didn’t feel like trying…

Temp- 76F
Humidity- 65%
Elevation- 1200ft I think (in Memphis, TN)
Track was nasty, tons of rocks, bad burnout pit

Only engine mods are insaneamine grounding kit. I look forward to better times with more practice and some mods. The car is a performance 6mt with 1800 miles on it, and is my first manual car so times should be improving soon. J

Ouch, you're first manual? Your poor, poor clutch hehe. just kiddin'.

Yeah you will need to get use to the car, 1800 miles is nothing but introducing yourself to the car.

Good luck in the future.

Oh, it is very ghetto. Normally when lots of people run, you can hook well, but damn this was awful. They weren't spraying the rocks off the burnout pit like they used to (and should). Tires would get rocks all in them and wet, then yeah, no traction... oh well, will try again later in the summer when I can afford performance mods. My first 1500 goes to stereo:cool:
