Well it doesn't happen all the time to this guy. For starters most girls see/meet me and figure I have a gf. And very rarely are my looks commented on, I dont even consider myself good looking.

I think what he is asking is why is it the taken ladies that comment like that and not the single ones. At least that's what I understand from it...

Thats all it is.. Mind games..

And as for dating a woman/guy that is cheating on her/his boyfriend/girlfriend with you, chances are you wont be the last. Just remember that. What comes around goes around.:o

cuz they feel safe in saying it then...

either you're the kinda guy who'll jump on them which may or may not be what they're looking to see happen.

or you're the kinda guy who'll not do anything.

it can be an expresion of their feelings (about your looks/personallity) to give you confidence to go out and persue you're OTHER love interests... or it can be a come on...

you should lean in like yer gunna kiss'em then back off... after you KNOW what they'd do... then no questions.

I used to work in a VERY free-speaking environment at a resturant... and the ONLY girls who seriously flirted with me were COMPLETELY taken... I know for a fact that some of them would have done me but I also know for a fact that some of them just felt safe flirting because they knew that no matter how serious both of us were we wouldn't do anything.

ok....since when is it soooooo wrong for a girl that is taken to tell a guy that isn't her bf that he's good looking/sexy/hot/cute/whatever you wanna call it???? Last time I checked, if a girl has a boyfriend she doesn't automatically go blind and mute. I don't see an issue with a girl tellin a guy that he's good looking. Guys do the same thing I'm sure....actually I know that's true that guys do, I've had it happen to me before. I've had guys that are taken tell me that I'm attractive...take it as a compliment, not a "Hey baby let's jump into bed and have sex" come-on. You people read WAY too much into things!

If I have a hot friend, or if I'm talking to a hot guy, I'll tell him I think he's hot. That doesn't mean I want to touch him or anything, I'm VERY taken, but I don't feel I'm doing anything wrong.

if my girlfriend was frolicking around telling other guys or some of my friends that they were cute or hot or sexy....i definately wouldn't be to happy. Cause i'd hate to go out the next night with my buddies hearing that she says they're sexy....and if you can't admit that it'd bother you....your nuts....it's different if i'd say anna kournikova is hot....because she' untouchable...but when it's directly to someone you have daily contact with...it's not very legit

cuz people act differently and put off different vibes when they are with someone....members of the opposite sex get to see how you are with your bf/gf (whatever your case may be) and they realize how kick ass you are to have as a bf/gf. It's the whole "you want what you can't have" idea.....with a lil bit of jealousy tucked in as well.

I think I need to find some chic who's also looking for a bf and just fake a relationship so that way we both get a guy/girl! hmmmm....

You know what the most common line a girl gives a guy if she doesn't really like him?? You guessed it.. "I have a bf"

:D
